Cosmic Pong Challenge

Description
Paddle Control and Ball Physics
Cosmic Pong Challenge uses a single paddle that slides left and right along the bottom edge of the screen. The ball travels across the play area, and your only job is to intercept it before it drops off the lower edge. Mouse and touchscreen input both work, so the same motion translates whether you are on a desktop or a mobile device. The ball accelerates as a round continues, which gradually shrinks the window for error and forces earlier paddle movement rather than last-second corrections.
Obstacles That Reshape Each Level
What separates this from a plain pong clone is the level design. Moving barriers cross the play area, and narrow corridors restrict where the ball can travel. These elements turn positioning into a timing problem: you are not just tracking the ball, you are predicting how an obstacle will redirect it. Because each level introduces its own arrangement, learning the layout matters as much as raw reaction speed. The space theme carries through the backdrops, with asteroid fields and nebula zones giving each stage a distinct visual identity.
Difficulty Curve and Session Length
The challenge rises in two ways: the ball speeds up within a round, and later levels combine obstacles in less forgiving configurations. That progression supports short sessions, since a single attempt is quick, but it also rewards longer practice because pattern recognition improves with repetition. There are no downloads or installations, and the game runs in a browser, which keeps the barrier to entry low for players of any age.
