Seeker and Evader Pursuit
Reviews
Description
Two Roles, One Objective
Every match of Seeker and Evader Pursuit splits players into seekers and evaders. Seekers must locate and tag each evader before the round ends. Evaders stay hidden, collect keys scattered across the map, and unlock a safe escape route. The tension comes from not knowing when a seeker will appear around a corner, while seekers must guess where evaders are hiding. Both sides share the same space but pursue opposite goals, so each round plays out differently depending on how players move and react.
Movement, Cover, and Key Collection
Evaders rely on furniture, corners, and map features for cover. Moving quietly and choosing when to break from hiding is central to survival. Collecting enough keys is the only way to win as an evader, so progress requires balancing risk and patience. Seekers patrol actively, checking likely hiding spots and watching for movement. Tagging an evader removes them from the round, so seekers must decide whether to guard a key area or sweep the map. Both roles benefit from learning layouts and predicting opponent behavior. [IMG_1]
Match Flow and Role Switching
Rounds end when all evaders have gathered enough keys to escape or when every evader has been tagged. Players can switch roles between rounds, which helps them understand the strengths and weaknesses of each side. Matches are short, allowing several rounds in one session. The simple rules make it easy for newcomers to join, while the strategic depth—timing, route planning, and anticipating opponent moves—keeps experienced players engaged. Communication with teammates, when playing in a group, can coordinate key collection or surround evaders.
